Michael W. Parks, DVM

Dr. Parks feels most at home in the operating room, where he can see the immediate results of his surgical work. He finds deep satisfaction in the relationships he builds with clients and their animals. When not caring for patients, he enjoys boating and spending time with his grandchildren. He and his wife Gina share their home with horses Belle and Fin, plus dogs Clarence and Pandora.
Chris H. Runde, DVM

With broad interests spanning equine medicine to cancer treatment in small animals, Dr. Runde finds particular fulfillment in helping families navigate difficult diagnoses. He and his family live on Briarpatch Farm in Mechanicsville with seven horses, five dogs, four cats, and an assortment of pheasants. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing the Bay and watching wildlife on the farm.

Charles L. Benedict, DVM

A lifelong animal lover with a special interest in ophthalmology, Dr. Benedict treats dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals. Away from the hospital, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and football with his family and their pets: dogs Jigsy and Spencer, and cats Squishy, Gary, and Marcie.
Paul E. Repenning, DVM, MS
Colorado State University
A Southern Maryland native who grew up on Cremona Farm, Dr. Repenning was inspired by Tidewater's own veterinarians to pursue this career. His expertise includes beef systems management, equine lameness, and dentistry. He and his wife Emily are active in the local equestrian community, enjoying polocrosse and foxhunting.
Kristina Kravchenko, DVM

Dr. Kravchenko brings enthusiasm for internal medicine, canine rehabilitation, and small ruminant care. Originally from Tennessee, she's embraced Southern Maryland life and can often be found hiking local trails with her adventure cat, Vasya.
Tammy Dorsch, DVM

Joining us in 2022, Dr. Dorsch specializes in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and exotic pets. A Charlotte Hall resident, she brings both professional expertise and local perspective to her practice.
Jessica Gleeson, DVM
Virginia Tech, 2005; Western University, 2010
Recently returned from England, Dr. Gleeson focuses on preventative medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. She treats each patient with the same care she'd give her own pets.

Our newest addition brings fresh perspectives on exotic animal care, neurology, and wildlife medicine. When not at the hospital, she's likely birding or hiking with her tuxedo cat Chukka.
